In Harare, Zimbabwe sculptors gather each weekday in a field alongside a busy road to work their craft. The sky is usually clear blue in the dry season, and the grass will be hidden here by the broken rock from the artist's work. Mr. Ngoni is one of these artists and highly skilled. He wears a typical orange and blue work attire which is coated in rock dust. With decades of experience under his belt he can turn rough rock into realism, and each piece will usually take him about two days if he isn't delayed. Power outages are frequent in Zimbabwe which means the power tools that are needed to make the initial large cuts into rock become useless. Like the other artists Mr. Ngoni proudly supports his family with his talent.
